Due to the large number of dogs that visit dog beaches and parks, it is very important to talk to your regular veterinarian and make sure that your pet is current on all the necessary vaccinations to protect them against contagious illnesses like Parvovirus, Distemper, Bordatella and Rabies.   Also, make sure your pet has been treated for worms or is on a monthly preventative if you frequent local dog parks and beaches.
